Bob Spoo (November 2, 1937) is a college football, formerly the head coach for Eastern Illinois University. He held that position from the 1987 season until the 2011 season. His career coaching record at Eastern Illinois 144-126-1. As of completion of the 2009 season, this ranks him first at Eastern Illinois in total wins and seventh at Eastern Illinois in winning percentage.[1]

Spoo is an alumnus of Purdue University and a former quarterback on the Boilermaker's football team. Prior to receiving the head coach position at Eastern Illinois, Spoo served as an assistant at Purdue and Wisconsin, as well as a high school coach.
